Oh man....where I start....I'm trying the trial version of this software and I like it.

I have crated and added items that will be sold and uploaded this to my server...successfully...imagine that. I have even managed to test the buy now button on the check out page of the coffecup shopping cart (somehow I found that page in my files on the server) and it did make the sale to an alternate paypal account that I have…..great…but,

The problem is, I do not know how to create a link from my webpage button called "shop" on the above mentioned website...to the shopping cart....so no one sees it, hopefully you can help me fix this as I really like this program and would like to purchase if I can get this problem solved.

I have contacted my webhost and of course they say the expected "we do not support 3rd party applications"

As I am pretty much computer illiterate when it comes to some matters, I would need very basic step by step instructions.

Thanks so much

Once your cart is uploaded, just create a simple text link from your Website to the cart using whatever software you are building your Website with.

The link should look something like this
href="/shop/index.php"><font color="#000000">My Shop</font>
That should get you from the page you put the link on to the "My Shop" but be sure to replace "My Shop" with whatever the name is of the page for your shopping cart.:D

Thanks Dennis but I do not know how....and I have tried....to get another URL or text that you referenced INTO the "shop" button that I have in my site. Yes....I can just put a link into the body of my website that will link to the CoffeeCup, but I really want to put the link in the "shop" button for a cleaner look.

I don't quite understand... i created a 'buy now' button and then with the Link Window, i enter a destination buy browing through my folders on the 'Docum.' field. But i don't know which file to click on. i have also done 'export shop for upload' on shopping cart creator. i created a new folder thats inside the folder of my homepage. But the new folder has many files and i dont know which one to click on. i tried the 'index' file.. but it didn't work when i tried previewing the site.

Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement
