I know this is an older post, but I have a new Wordpress site I'm going to develop and they need a basic shopping cart. I don't do much eCommerce so this is not a strong area for me. The little I've done I haven't been impressed with the WP pluggins and I've always loved your stuff so here is my question.

If my core site, which is wordpress is www.mysite.com, I could create a sub domain of store.mysite.com and have the store be uploaded here as a totally separate functioning site and then I just link the Store Navigation tab in the wordpress site to this external URL... store.mysite.com

Am I correct or off base. Please let me know.
