A few years ago, I bought into Shopping Cart Creator...getting both the Pro version AND the designer. As it was new, it ended up NOT doing what I needed it to and I went a different direction with my store.

However, I still like the idea of what it is supposed to do.

My question now, is this software even still being updated? Does it actually function now? Please, not looking for the CC token answer, which is of course, "Why yes, it does and always has worked great!".

I am NOT trying to bash CC or the software, just that for ME...it did not work out!

But, I did PAY for it...and I would be interested in trying again, but looking over the site and the forum it appears nothing has really been done to it for years...is that right?

There are upgrades planned, although not soon. This from CoffeeCup. They are working on other 'responsive' programs.
But, it does work for what it is intended to do. Not what you want to hear I know. So, please be more specific. What did you think the program would do when you bought it, that it does not do?

Nothing specific I can recall, it has been a LONG time since I even looked at it. Was needing to do a new store now and thought I should pull it out and update and give it another try...but looked and seems NO updates are out there. Total bum deal, this really could have been a good solution. Oh well, knowing how they do things, there will never be an update. Just a totally "new" product we have to buy all over again.

Todd as i was one of the first customers to buy both the basic and the pro, and i still use pro now, as far as i know the only real lack in the program was
(A) digital downloads, never planned, but they have promissed one day
(B) no option for a text field (i wanted it to add names for engraving etc) also promised ONE DAY
(C) no option for discounts

Apart from above i have run a successful store for many years, my only source of income as i closed my last retail shop in November 2012
