I have recently decided to use ssc for my daughter's shoe store. I have created a template and the first product for her store and uploaded it to our server. One question I have is what should I do in order for her to update her store from her own computer. Right now everything is on my computer and it would just be easier if she was able to use her own laptop. Is there a way to move the store and template from my computer to her laptop? I have vista, she has xp. I used design pro(trial version) to create the template.

Yes, she has to have the software though. All you have to do is send her your files. If you created the template yourself, you will have to send her that as well.

Ok well I have put what I think are the scc files on a flash drive and tried to open them with scc program, but I keep getting a "this price is negative". Should I be putting this file elsewhere besides the flash drive and then trying to open?

That error means you have corrupted your shop files and deleted some of the templates. Sometimes we can fix these, but you may have to do your shop over again. If you open a support ticket, we can look to see if we can salvage anything.

Fortunetly, I only had 1 test product in the shop. I guess what I really need to know is if I create a template on my computer and the basic store lay out, what files do I need to move via a flash drive over to my daughter's computers. I have downloaded SCC onto her laptop and I am guessing I just need to open the store files which would be .scc and the template file .scitex ?

You need to send the .SCT (the theme) and the .SCC and the _files folder.

Now that I had some time I started over with a fresh store and got it moved with no problems
