What is in the SCC file? It is not...

I changed PCs and went to edit some products in the shopping cart 3.5 build 2338

I opened the SCC file on the website the cart belongs to. It shows me all the products etc. But when checking the payment information it had another paypal acct in the data and it now keeps saying it can't upload to the ccdata folder...please try again.

What is that all about? I thought the SCC file contained all the information needed for the CoffeeCup Shopping Cart application to run properly.

Could the SCC file be an old version below 3.5? I remember something about upgrading but I didn't think it would mess things up.

Do I need to send something to support to have them look at it? The shopping cart works fine on the site but I can't make changes to it such as remove a few products that are currently out of stock. That is how this all started

Installed 3.7 and just did a brand new shop with just one product to a totally new folder on the same server and it fails in the same way. The folders is at 770 could that be the problem?

The SCC file is just the configuration file. You also need the corresponding folder with the same name. If you have lost that folder, there is no way to reconstruct it except by rebuilding your shop.

I actually restored the messed up cart on the server with the hosting backup server. It had the folder and everything. When I went to work on the cart it showed other things....I am confused. I left it along so I guess I just need to try to create a new one from scratch.

I think the folder in question isn't the one that is uploaded but the one that is saved onto your computer, ... I think.. don't quote me on it, and I'll look in a bit when I get a chance after supper and such. I need to back all my stuff up too so I need to document my locations in my notes anyways :)
