Hi Michael.

I had intended not to post further in this thread as I'm not in a position to help with your website. What I have done, however, is to create a version of my three slide-sets displayed on one page, but laid out in a grid much like the one I think you want.

I have modified the pages s01, s02 and s03 and the index page contains the grid. I've put it at https://fc7777.coffeecup.com/layout-multi-slide.rsd , and I guess you might be able to use it at least to copy the grid layout and the modified pages. It works, but I must leave all adjustment etc. to you.

Hi Frank,
I wouldn't have thought you still invest time after the mess I arranged with my wrong sample upload.

I just looked at your new idea and it really works for my needs = pictures sliding + a column / row for always the same text. I never would have thought that what I want is so complicated. But I learned a lot while searching for a solution.

In case you are interesterd in my final "give up" solution -here it is

- I still can't understand why in my sample page an import of a second slider component doesn't work and an import of a second picture component works without problems. Just in case someone knows the answer...

Hi Michael.

My idea of putting the slide sets into separate pages and displaying them on one page through iframes in HTML elements is simple in concept, but somewhat time consuming to put into operation.

On your page there is, in the Footer Code box for the 'lightbox-spalte-wrap' element, JavaScript which refers to various elements in the slide set. That JavaScript makes it work. To do that all on one page for multiple slide sets could involve each slide set needing different class names or IDs for the JavaScript to refer to, and the JavaScript would need to be more complex to cope with each different slide set. I'm not suggesting it wouldn't be possible, but I believe it would involve far more work than my simple idea.

Michael, the answer to that is simple, the slider comes with some JS, and the images come 'alone'.

I must admire Frank's patience here, and you, Michael, shouldn't try to jump to any 'shortcuts' with what he is explaining. The sliders need to be on separate pages and then be shown on the main page (whichever name it has) by the use of iframes. Period.

One thing that probably obscures the whole thing may be the use of CSS Grid. It's a pity that there are no more templates/components coming from CC using plain Flexbox. CSS Grid isn't exactly rocket science, but Flex makes the units/divs/containers at least visible, for starters, and is therefore easier for a lot of people to work with. If you are able to wait until I'm back home in Norway (after Oct. 26th), I've said in a mail to you that I can help.

(Wondering if I should create some easy components about using Flexbox...)
Ha en riktig god dag!

Hi Frank and Inger, thanks a lot for your explanations. And yes, Inger, Flex ist more transparent than Grid. If there were a way to use flex and slider components - that would be very handy ...

Hi Michael

I've put a flex one at https://fc7777.coffeecup.com/flex-multi-slide.rsd .
