They latest version of SD adds the "Light Mode" for the GUI. I do really like the lighter colors but I'm having difficulty reading the variations of green on gray backgrounds. Also the yellows on white are hard to see. To some extent the light grey text on white is problematic IMHO. Please see the attachment for examples.

Does anyone else share this observations?

I do share them. When the latest version of SD went live in March, it was said that the light mode was in beta, so I guess they are still working on it.

I understand your concerns with the new "Light Mode" in the latest SD version. The color contrasts can indeed be challenging to read. I agree that variations of green on gray and yellows on white can be problematic, as well as light grey text on white. It would be helpful if the developers could improve the contrast. Does anyone else have similar issues?
