Okay, so I'm kind of up the creek without a paddle. Is there a way to restore previous versions of a corrupted file? I kept saving under one name and when I tried to switch to another, the file became "corrupted".

What do I doooo??? ~

By the way how are you trying to open the project file?

sometimes this happens to me when I try to open a project file from the site designer icon I have pinned to the taskbar,, then if I actually go to the project file location and open from there it opens ok.

It's started happening after the last version update, I have reported it a while ago, but not heard back, I am very busy at the moment and forgot that it happened to me before, (mind you it might not be the same issue.

I will try this now. Also, is there a way to extract html from previously exported projects to restore on a new project? my only concern with this is how to correct the responsiveness for mobile devices so it shows up equally. I know, you sent a tutorial about how to make sure everything shows up properly on each device, but could you send it again? thank you.

No good way to do that with html because it's probably the CSS that controls the responsiveness, there could be a way but risky and messy, sounds like you need grasp the bull by it's horns and start afresh

Alternativel
open file explorer
select "This PC" then do a search for
.rsd

just tha no names just .rsd

when it has finished look through the ones it has found

when you see your offending projct file right click and select open with,, then select Site Designer from the list.

If all of those things still don't bopen your project file, then it's gone and the only feasible way is to start again.
