creating components that work - Post...
hi all~
I have a component that I am using that is currently not showing up in preview before export. I need to know if it is working properly, but also I would like to know if I could possibly recreate a component to work properly with my edits? do i need to open a blank frameworkless and try to put the html in a component and export it?
any experience with editing prior components to work?
Please let me know, thanks!

Is that a component that CoffeeCup has made? And you mention Frameworkless, so is the component built for mobile up or desktop down? And your site, which way has that been built? You need to have the site and the components built the same way to have them all work together.
Actually, I find this a bit ridiculous. You are asking for help and we - especially Wayan - feel like blindfolded as we have never SEEN what the issues are, we're completely in the dark and are making guesses.

Thank you Wayan and Inger!
I was able to update this, now the only thing that I am waiting on correcting is CSS layout for the component.
Drag and drop has been more difficult for me than creating html elements with the same items. I'm not sure why it crashes more with drag and drop for me. But I thank you all for trying to see in the the dark like my favorite band, Orchestral Manoeuvers!

Hey Zoe! Frustrating when a component doesn't show in preview. Have you tried restarting Coffee Cup or clearing your cache? Sometimes that can fix weird display glitches. Here's a troubleshooting guide too: [link to Coffee Cup troubleshooting guide]. #CoffeeCupSupport
