Currently I'm trying to download site-designer-full-osx-en-5.0-3521.dmg which has a download speed of about 7 KB a second. Strange enough I've also downloaded the complete Affinity 2 Suite in just seconds. So ... what's going on?

Perhaps they know about something amis a little bit of patience needed.

I tested it by downloading both versions right now, one after the other. The Mac version took 20 sec, Windows 25 sec. I don't have the fastest internet in the world, so I thought that was pretty good.

Earlier around 1.00 am Indonesia time it took 1 hour my internet isn't fast but better than before, about 1/2 hour ago it took 7 mins which is normal for here, maybe it was a worldwide thingy rather than locally

Apparently Affinity 2 installs in a newish and different way as an app, and Windows will update it in an entirely different and quicker way.There is a fair amount about this in the Affinity forum, such as at https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index. … ent=982249 .

Whether that has some effect also on download times as well is unclear to me, but perhaps the Windows security checking of the download is different and quicker.

I've got VPN Nord running, perhaps that the Coffeecup servers have an issue with that. Currently I'm giving it another go, but still it seems terribly slow.
