Extend menu from mobile to desktop -...
I would like to extend a menu beyond the foundation 640 px limit into the desktop area. See attached my template.
Everything looks great in canvas, but as soon as I press preview the nav container with the hamburger disappears. And the remaining submenus no longer toggle. In mobile mode everything works fine as usual.
I assume this is predetermined by the use of the foundation attributes.
But maybe there is a trick? A detour? Without coding if possible.
Or can the foundation attributes be exchanged accordingly?

So why not use one of the ready made menu components that come with Site Designer and customise it using the stylyes section
"Glass With Drop" for instance
can be easily customised to look and do what you want it to look like.
The effect you want can easily be achieved within Site Designer (no coding) all you need to do is learn how to tell site designer to do what you want it to do when you want it to do something for you.

Thank you, that's a great idea. I didn't think it would work until I saw your video. Could you let me use your construction? So far I only see one tiny little flaw: in my original verasion the arrow always goes up and down / open or closed - would that also work in the glass replica?
And could you extend the menu so that it changes to an open menu (without hamburger) when the desktop is larger (at about 900 px)? And thus avoid the foundation breakpoints.
Too bad you didn't find out why this doesn't work with my menu - it's always a time-consuming fiddling for me to rebuild other constructions (not everyone is as fit as you).
So if someone has a solution for my original model that would be even better. But it's good to know that there is a way out

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
