I have to look for wrong links (404) in my project.
In old Dreamweaver 8 one could search the full project either in text or in html mode. Is there something similar in SD ?
I found the similar question here in the forum (RSD V2 - Find/Find & Replace ) = 2018 with the export work around - but is there meanwhile a direct solution ?

Hi Michael which project file (domain) is it that you are getting the 404 page missing error, and that error doesn't always mean that there are links on your pages, sometimes it can be that there has been a page before (maybe one that was bookmarked) and that page has gone.

There is a find and replace that you can perform but fiddly and doesn't actually do it within site designer, but at least it gives you a starter to change any link on that page.

One of the other things you could do is to make a custom 404 page, with some helpful information for anyone who happens to land on a 404 page, with maybe links to the pages on your site so that they can go there and sort of start again, (this needs a bit of editing to the htaccess file one your domain server to tell the server to open the custom 404 page rather than the default one.

You can email me if you want help to do this unless someone else chips in firast with a workaround.

On your main website apart from the 404 errors (which are mostly to do with the contact form trigger PHP (contact2) there are also multiple others that need attention (some warnings, some serious (high) some not so serious(low) and opportunities to help with SEO

And the same goes also for almost all of your other websites (connected to your main website or as single websites on their own)

So as far as that one 404 error you either need change the PHP in your resources that points to the file back to contact2,, or edit the link in the form for the submit button to open the PHP file name.

Hi Wayan,
sorry for late response but I've been to busy to care for my webpage. Thanks for your hints - yes specially the php in the Cuba page is problematic - but for the moment I I'm mostly struggling with Google Search console - it says for another page of mine "page not found" and shows the wrong link, which cannot be found by Google - but I cannot find the location in the page where I placed that wrong link - I think the problem has been corrected but Google cannot actualize ... So there are more important things to do... Thanks

Those buttons to the form also linked to wrong place and they also do a page not found so they are important to fix also, anyone trying to contact you gets a 404 page not found so it's not good and many people maybe don't come back

Which website and which page do they say has the wrong link?

So for instance your MAIN website (ERGxxxx.com has a number of links that produce a 404 error

One of them being the DE link on the menu section THIS ONE IS POINTING TO THE WRONG PAGE AT MOBILE WIDTHS
https://ergoxxxx.com/de/index.html (which doesn't exist on your server, hence the 404 error)

At desktop it's pointing to the correct page, https://ergoxxxx.com/index-de.html

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE
there are others too (and that's just on your main website. )
