Just wondering if you can make the index.html page of an .rsd a true standalone that could be called by link a different .rsd template. ????

If it's simply a matter of there being two Site Designer project files, each having a different framework (Foundation, Bootstrap etc.), there seems no reason why a link in one of the project files should not be to a page in the other project file.

The pages in each project file will have different references to CSS files and JavaScript files, and I doubt that merging them is possible. Even if it were possible, the effort would not be worthwhile. I would just export each of the Site Designer projects separately with different names and ensure that the link is correctly made to the page in the other named project folder.

Perhaps I've misunderstood what is wanted, and that something more complex is in mind. If by "true standalone" it was meant that it wouldn't be in a separate project folder, but just a simple index.html file made in Site Designer with no CSS, JavaScript etc. folders, I believe the answer is 'No'.

Makes sense to me that you can't do it but was worth asking. Then my take is that you need a directory for each application or page and link thru href=.

Just so. One cannot mix frameworks because of the different CSS and JavaScript files involved. One Site Designer project file can hold numerous pages in that framework, and create links using the Href boxes of link elements to any page one wishes whether within that project or elsewhere. Pages in another framework need to be in a separate Site Designer project file.
