Okay, I’ll rephrase the question. Can I use a picture link instead of a font icon link for the burger menu icon?

Thank you for the response! It’s encouraging. So far, I haven’t been able to make it work. Perhaps it’s because I’m trying to modify an existing menu instead of starting from scratch. In any case, thank you for the response, I’ll keep looking.

It needs to be in the parent container that has the attribute to open the hidden menu

It doesn't need to be a picture link but if you do prefer, there should be no href ( eg href = #/) and no attribute the parent container is what triggers the data toggle menu to open /close

WHICH menu component are you using? and which framework in site designer

I'm not sure whether they will help, but I attach
1. an old file I created to replace some neutral hamburger menu which didn't seem to work as it should,
2. that same file with the hamburger replaced by a Site Designer picture element.

Frank

Wayan: I'm sorry, the above was prepared before your last post appeared. Perhaps my example will still be of some use.

If you let me know which menu component and framework you are using I will post a link to a demo video showing the process.

Thank you for the response! I can’t say exactly which menu component I’m using since I’ve been tinkering for a long time and tried a lot of different ones, and I’m working frameworkless.

Thank you for the response! Yes, that’s exactly what I wanted to do! Perhaps I just need to start from scratch rather than reworking the existing component.

Well in that case
1/ there are only 2 built in menu components unless you used a custom one, ot one of the new ones

go to the components tab and see what the component name that you used is then put that here

It needs to be in the parent container that has the attribute to open the hidden menu

It doesn't need to be a picture link but if you do prefer, there should be no href ( eg href = #/) and no attribute the parent container is what triggers the data toggle menu to open /close

It seems this component is called Shine from the template of the same name.
