hi all~

I find my SD to crash regularly when i open up my most recently exported project.

I wanted to know, could i possibly do one-page exports and add them to my already established project? I'll have all the same components and can link them well, I wanted to see if that is available. Thank you!

I seem to remember that I have told you this before: I have the 'Component Shop' (link in my signature) consisting of all in all 6 different SD files. Each one of them has been exported into a separate subfolder. This was necessary because they are all made in different frameworks/layout systems.
But a complex system like that - for a different purpose - could also have been made with just one and the same framework. If I had wanted to export a project containing just one HTML page, I could have done it the same way; popped that one page plus its pertaining files (js, css, imgs etc) into a subfolder. That wouldn't have been a problem, except that you would have had to pay special attention to the linking between that one page and the other pages. But absolutely possible.

I'm in doubt about exporting one HTML page and its dependencies into the server root where you already have the other pages from the main project. I have never done that, and if you want to experiment with it, make sure you create a backup of everything first.
Ha en riktig god dag!

yes, your component shop is very helpful!

because of the many crashes my system is still having with this software, I am looking for options to work with it before having to reboot my computer or worse, change my computer or find new software to use. I'm hoping this works:D

Yes, I am. Is there a common issue with this?

64-bit 23H2 is my version. I've heard that the intel processors are difficult for gamers, I didn't know how they affect apps but this has been happening since I bought the software.

Try going into the program file where site designer is located.
Right click on the icon choose more options, select the fix compatibility option
Don't choose a problem but select the option "none of these" when it finishes say yes to the question about dimid that fix the issue, close explorer reboot your pc see if that helps improve the situation

If so you need remember to do that every time there is a windows update loaded. It's a pain in the butt I know but it's helped that similar issues with my SD and windows.

I also have a solution to exporting single pages etc but this one doesn't involve putting it into a folder then linking everything back and forwards. At the end of the project all pages and folder are in the root of the project ready for uploading. But IT IS AN ENORMOUS fiddly task especially if there are a large number of pages. It is still experimental but I can do a demo video if you or anyone else are interested.

As always, Wayan, I am interested in any CC tutorials that you have. Is there a way to make a playlist of all of your tutorials public or place them somewhere? I understand it might not be possible, but if so, it will help many people refresh their memories and limit forum questions for sure haha
Thank you guys so much~

Hi Zoe
I do specific videos for a specific issue (question on site Designer CC forum, not for public consumption), I do Step By Step video tutorials for others who are part of my valued client family, these are also specific to a project, and are even sometimes complete step by step video tutorials for a whole site project, those videos are available to client family members on their own page on my tutorials site.( paid subscription)

The help I provide on this forum is for this forum CC users (and sometimes Guests) I do that one to help CC users and the CoffeeCup team free same as it is from other users who also help, I don't have time or the resources to set up playlists etc etc for Coffee Cup, once users have stopped viewing the videos (usually around 1 month after uploading to YouTube I delete them.)

Ohh Gotcha! that makes sense.

If CC ever puts out more content, they should hire you for their videos! You explain things quite well and are so so helpful! ~
