My Suggestion - Make it using RSD or RFF

Hi DianaH, I would put the header and icons centered on the lower size home pg and change menu to hamburger type on lower sizes when the menu breaks while sliding down the pixel scale line. Looks very good for first one. As for the menu I think we have been programmed to prefer the hamburger menu due to seeing so much of it lately.

That makes sense. I'll give that a try. :-)

This was my very first experience with Coffecup Software at all. I own the software since years and never used it before. But the foundation framer made me curious and short time after I purchased it, the RSD 2 beta had been released. And this is so amazing with all its options and the clean code. And with all the time, it is saving in web development So I built the next static website with RSD 2 beta and Foundation. In real, these are two websites, but for the same client, with a little different focus and another color.

Based on some excellent feedback, I made a few changes to my website. I converted my php gallery to RSD and I redesigned my mobile menu to be hamburger style with smaller font. Thanks to Wayan Jaya and GregB!

Fixes look good on your site DianaH, suggest putting mouse over transitions on menu buttons so that people get indication that either their finger or mouse are registering as taking effect. the visual feedback is reassuring.

Agreed! I actually had it in there, but must have lost it during one of my updates. Glad you noticed. I've added that feature to the menus. Also, I made another change to the mobile menu. It seemed strange that people needed to scroll down through the menu to see the page. So now, there's a menu icon at the top which takes them to the hamburger menu.

I would say that the font size is too small. I see it set at .875 em. Google, and other guidelines want the regular text at 1 em unless the font itself is abnormally large or small. Changing it to 1 em (or even larger) makes it much for readable.
I would think of your visitors and search engine optimization. Don't make your visitors have to read through for wine tasting or vineyard tours. Give them their own heading and make them standout. Let search engines know, with your heading tags what is important, and restructure the page. Your logo is a h1, make the subheadings h2. (The logo needs a drop shadow or other styling to be more readable). The text to the left and underneath the images should be changed - they both can't be captions for the image, and it looks like they both are to me without reading carefully. Take the paragraphs and visually or physically separate them from the photo/caption. In many views, this 2 column layout is producing a very tall paragraphs of text just 2-4 words wide adjacent to a small image - even in the 0.875 em font size. Consider putting those paragraphs on top of the image/caption.
