I've been away from Site Designer for a couple of years, but have recently gone back to update the site export-u.com, and have run into some issues. I have updated to the latest version (5.0, Build 3541) but no improvment.
1) the program seems to be working, but incredibly slow.
2) changes make to picture links and text links work within the program and in local publish look fine, but don't don't always when I publish them online.
I'm using the same computer (a top-end Alienware build) I had two years ago, and "Task Manager" doesn't show any lack of memory, or processor power, etc.
Am I missing something? Should I migrate to another program? from CoffeeCup?
Thanks for any input,
Bob Erwin

I find this happens often when working on a project for a long period of time. I would say that you should save and close your project when you first start noticing the lagginess/slowness. When it opens again you will be good for another long while. I tend to think it has to do with the memory of your PC that Site Designer uses for the Undo and Redo feature. Remember that the app has to remember every move you have made so it can undo/redo. Think of it as clearing the cache.
