HMM the first thing you must do and pretty quickly is to log into your hosting service, go to your domain and delete your files and folders. Its already too late to stop Google and other search engines from indexing your web pages, so you will need start again only exporting your project file when its error free,, if you want to view it sort of live before publishing and during development use the tab 'Preview On' that gives you a live view, but only from a temporary folder on your hard drive,, which is deleted when you close the view.

There is a way to get Google to clear the indexed files in their crawl library, so that when your website is finally published it will be error free.

Im probably doing it wrong but I dont really do enough on the program to know really know it
I dont have any trouble getting a website working online even if its wrong.
At this point I only want it to work on desk top so im not worried about mobiles.

I use Filezilla so I usually update the whole site when ever I upload

It doesn't matter if you are not worried about mobile phones, but you see GOOGLE and other search engines START WITH MOBILE FIRST, you have no choice, if your website doesnt pass that test, then your whole site suffers regardless of what device your visitors view it on.

The problem with indexed pages is that there is a possibility that the wrong ones may be displayred, or don't get overwritten for some reasom, the longer you leave it the harder it becomes to get therm to display the correct pages. It has taken me 4 months to get Google to delete some old pages from a new client of mine who was tearing his hair out because the search engines kept displaying the error pages not the new ones.

But first things first lets have a go at getting you on the right path and on the way with a website that works, is error free and will give your visitors the viewing experience they deserve.
