I'm re-doing an older static website into an RSD masterpiece.

I want to place text over an image (with a text background) that will all act responsively, but haven't figured how to place the text on top of the image.

Is this possible in RSD, or am I pushing the envelope?

Play around with the position of your text by setting it to absolute or relative. Then adjust your other settings under position.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks Eric,

That ALMOST works... I got the text and it's background on top of the picture just the way I want - at full width, but as I narrow the page, and the image shrinks in width and height as it moves up, the text only stays at the same vertical position and grows downward, and doesn't stay with the picture.

I'll try adding a whole bunch of breaks and keep repositioning the text box.

Yup, the break points are needed.
