For years I've copied the youtube embed code went to http://embedresponsively.com pasted the code created wnd put it in a HTML element and its worked great. I recently updated Site Designer - what changed? doesn't seem to work now.

New procedure?

Ok looks lots of new stuff here.

So I placed a Video platform element (in the media Drop down) on my page - The video plays and centers in my div just fine.

Is there anything else I need to do to make sure it renders correctly (on all browsers etc?) after upload?

You can make sure its an mp4 or wmv format. Those are the 2 most common browser formats.

You can still do that Byron, but just a slightly different way, (slightly different but complicated to explain.) If you want I can send a video tut to you showing the way.

Hi Wayan!

Hope you are doing well!

I think this way is fine I just wanted to make sure I was doing correctly. Never found it instructions for it.

Thanks

Byron

Byron, you are aware I hope that self hosting videos, (even MP4) on some IPhones (older ones) the video will not play. there is a way to fix it but so complicated, its way easier to host the video on the likes of YouTube, Vimeo or any other video hosting website. (they already have the codec required to show videos on ALL devices at all witdths (including Iphones)

Just a thought
