Is there a way in Google Sitemap to exclude html pages based on a wildcard like there is for "Queries to Ignore?"
I have a Zikula/Postnuke website that uses mod_rewrite to create html pages, and I don't want Sitemap to include any pages such as this one:
http://antiorange.dawgtoons.com/module- … inter.html
I tried the "Queries to Ignore" and "Files to Ignore" with Printer and *Printer* and *Printer, but nothing works. Any suggestions? Or could this be added as a feature in the future? neutral
Google Sitemap - way to wildcard html...
Hmm, also is there a wildcard that can be used for dynamic urls? Sitemapper was started about 5 this afternoon and is still running at near midnight. What kind of drain is this putting on my servers? So far it has crawled over 15,000 dynamic urls with a list of about 250. Can % be used cause * doesn't work, that is what I put in as a limitation. Otherwise this is a handy tool.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
