Site Map and Indexing - Post ID 204548
I have a strangre situation here and I hope you can help me.
1. I have this website instant-online-loans.co.za which is non mobile responsive (The template that is, Worpress website)
2 Then I decided to create another directory http://instant-online-loans.co.za/mobile-online-loans-south-africa/, installed Wordpress software and used Mobile responsive template.
3. Here is my problem :-
a) I created this page 2 weeks ago. When the page was not appearing on Google i decided to do a site map for it.
b) When I did, I got an error message : Sitemap has detected a meta that is preventing our sitemap to scan your website....
c) I have checked privacy on Wordpress is fine
d) Checked nofollow and noindex for this directory. Everything seems fine
Ok. I then followed the instructions for robots.tx on error message. 2 weeks later page is not coming on any search engine

You need to remove this line from the head of your page.
<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow,noarchive,noodp,noydir" />
<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow,noarchive,noodp,noydir" />
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric
The site map worked fine after I removed no follow, no index on the page.
I had put the robots because it's blank and has no content (Just a welcome page and will have a slider). This new "GOOGLE PANDA" makes us do crazy things.
Anyway thanks.

I just bought the registered version of sitemapper.
My website is www.alltimeshare.com
I ran it and it only found about 1500 pages.
I have 24,000 timeshares listed for sale and I want to know how to get sitemapper to find all those listings.
For example, this link shows how many links are in each category:
http://www.alltimeshare.com/links/pages/index.html
and http://alltimeshare.com/links/pages/Uni … index.html has links for each of states in the USA.
and links like http://alltimeshare.com/links/pages/United_States/AL/ show how many listings are in AL for example.
Sitemapper is a very nice program, I just need to know if my listing links need to be designed in a different way so that google finds all my listings. For example here is the way an individual listing looks:
http://alltimeshare.com/cgi-bin/display … l?Id=60572
when I enter site:alltimeshare.com at google, it says there are 54,100 links, which seems too high.
I wonder if I should disallow a lot of links which are contained in my blog archive, like this example: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct= … 4169,d.b2U
Thanks so much anybody who can address some or all of these issues!

This post might help. I think it has to do with the server side generation of the links.

I bought my sitemapper few day ago, I was hopping that it would allow me to ad keywords so that the mapper would the the job and let seekers find my site by my specific keywords. Any idea how to work it that way?
After you publish your site the sitemapper is used to scan you site to make a list of all the links to submit to search engines.
