You have a FTP solution...but, some of my clients would (architects) would like it if I could have a page where someone logs in and could either upload or download files based on an approved login. Right now I do just an ftp link that only Internet Explorer uses. But, it could be nice maybe if if the client had some sort of CMS control panel where he could assign different passwords to different folders on the server.
