Missouri is notorious for bad breeders and puppy mills, not to mention wacko animal hoarders
These things come up in the news way too often around here.
No need to pay a breeder hundreds of bucks for a pup – just wait 'til they get raided then get the pup from the Humane Society.

That's how this one got busted. A past customer asked to get another dog and went to pick it up a and noted all the dogs so called animal control. My mom hauled several car loads of towels and needed items to them. See even stopped at every dollar store between them and Kalamazoo and bought every collar they had to help out. The group of dogs grew to 390 in two days with a bunch of litters being born. I guess they were able to distribute most of the animals to other shelters so that they can be cared for and adopted out.

At least here, they can be hauled in on criminal charges for doing this.
