A good desktop recorder - Post ID 240797
Hey guys, does anyone know of a good screen desktop recorder I could purchase? I've been trying to use some of these free ones like CamStudio, EzVideo, and so on but they keep freezing up on me. I have Windows 8.1, let me know please

I use Snap 7... its a really great recording tool and very easy to use.

Whoooaaa thats a pretty steep price Scott! $299.00 is way to much for me to spend on recording software
Especially when you compare it to $20 for Snap7

I do all our video editing under OS X. Another good reason for OS X, that version is only $99.

SnagIt is only $49

I use screencast-o-matic. You have to pause it to zoom, but it has a lot of nice features, and it is only like $15 per year for the pro version.

http://www.screenpresso.com/ here. Use the free version and it does everything I need.
Nice find Chris... I would even pay 23 for the version without the branding.
