Apps For Websites - Post ID 213498
Hey guy's, ok so far i've got all of CC's software, all of WoWslider and Megabundle, and I utilize most of them, however i'm looking for more software that comes with features for building websites. Anything you guys have in mind?

Well it's hard to give you ideas if you don't know what you're looking for. What is it you actually want to do with more software? There's a ton of software out there, but not much more is really needed than what you already have other than some scripts here and there for jquery stuff.
Whatever you do, stay away from this one: http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/the-bre … post213310
On a more serious note, I agree with Jo Ann. You can do most things with the software you have, you just need to study them properly in order to be able to use their full potential.
What you could do is find a course or three at http://www.learnable.com/. They have a course for most things web related, and the lessons are not hard to follow.

Thank you ladies, i'm just thinking about adding an RSS feed to my site, but people don't really use RSS feed's anymore do they?
Okay, do you want apps to help you 'build' web sites, or things you can do to 'add' to a web site?
Lots of things you can add to web sites... Look at this site again...

At the bottom is a cool FREE way to make 3D text.
Click on the rotating GS at the top to look at Xara 3D v7. It's pretty cool and you can do a lot with it. Just gee-wiz stuff, but still cool
As far as 'building' web sites, cc is still the best. You just can't beat those FREE upgrades for life! I can hardly wait to see what comes out next . . .

There's so many things to customize your website. I wouldn't worry to much about it and Google what your looking for when the need comes.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)

This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Ok guy's thanks, i'll check that site out Gunsmoke. Yeah the problem is i'm stuck and don't know what to do or what to create next.. I have clients and work for free, but their sites are complete. The main one i'm working on right now is torchmod.com cause the files are always being updated, but I want to start designing again! I must code.. but don't know what to do.
One thing to keep in mind. Think of a web site especially the front page as a shop front. The idea is to invite people in. To much glitz can distract from the message you are giving.
