Hey guy's, i've been having A LOT of trouble on my PC's with browsers trying to access my computer and things of that nature.. is there an anti virus out there that is compatible with CC's software ?? I refuse to use Norton since it gives a lot of error messages when using CC software. Please?

With win 8 I have nothing. It's all about knowing what to click and what not to click.

Try M$ Security essentials. I think it's called Defender in the case of win8. It's free.
If you want to spends some money, there is also Eset Nod 32.

Yeah, what Inger says I use MS Defender and Windows Firewall and that's it. Both free on your Windows 8 Machine, same for Windows 7 just it's Security Essentials then not Windows Defender. I also use Malwarebytes on a weekly basis if not more. All free and all very good ways to keep yourself protected. Malwarebytes will usually be able to remove almost anything you get infected with too so it's a good thing to scan with regularly as well as your Antivirus program.

Ok I am going to try Maleware Bytes, it's only when I open my internet browser then I get the messages.. I had licensing for Windows 8, but I moved back to Windows 7 because I wasn't used to the Apps and Desktop so I just rolled back. Maybe I should try and retrieve my licensing ?

Dunno, I'm still loving Windows 8 now that I got the True Launch Bar through BitsDuJour's software sales. Gives you the ability to make a 2nd task bar of your own with folders on it and icons like a quick launch bar with lots of cool toys to put on it like calendars and IP address and Weather, Clip Board saving and lots of other things I don't even use lol. With that it makes Windows 8 a very nice little system

I would stay with Win7. I plan to do exactly the same, roll back to 7. Maybe I'll use my licensed win8 on parallels on the Mac.

@Jo Ann Is that like an extra side bar the same as the start button is on? I'm just curious because if they have that for Windows 7 i'd be interested
@Inger Yeah I had two licenses for two computers with Windows 8, I couldn't find my way around so I just rolled back to Windows 7.. the Internet / Gaming / Consoles are moving by so fast.. I just heard iPhone was coming out with maybe a 5S, in less than a year I believe? AND I just put $100 down on the Playstation 4 to reserve it for Christmas, with 3 games.. and as I understand it, it's twice as fast as the Xbox One ( I was previously an Xbox fan ) .. so I need to get it in gear here soon.
