I live in Indonesia, I have an English bank account, my new card took 2.5 years and 30 requests to send another (yes you read it right) My English bank could not send it registered so we couldn't track it and find out where it was going to. It finally arrived 1 year ago, but the new pin number took another 1 year (arrived last month)

If it hadn't been for the covid, I guess you could have saved big time if you had gone to England to fetch it.

Actually covid or nor I have no intention of ever going back to England for any reason whatsoever (just keep that bank account open so I don't have all eggs in 1 basket so to speak
