Do you get bored of the way the site looks, so you feel that you need to change it? I've never done a site before where I've thought ah yeah that's finished, as soon as it's finished to a degree, I always think oh I wish I done that now :P

Yes, that's me. I sort of finish my own site, and then I start playing with a new design...
For others I create the site, do occasional updates or changes, that's all, unless the site owner wants to have the design changed.

I can relate. I have redone my website about 5 times since I opened for business last year. And now I am rebuilding it again using the RLM lol....

It's taken me around 10 years to finish my site 'cause I kept changing it. Still isn't quite finished – keep doing the 'what if I do this instead...' :P I'm trying to find somebody to finish it for me so I won't start yet another whole new version I don't have time for. I shouldn't be allowed anywhere near my site.

Your own sites are never done. It's that cheap labor that's the problem. Start billing yourself and giving the money to your significant other and I think your sites will start looking more complete.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

Every time my web site is finished, something happens that makes me having to start it all over again :-(

Like a change of hobby, or a change of server. Or using a new program to manage or design my site... ;-)

When I work on my own websites, I actually do look at my hours of work because those websites should give me some return on investment. Using that lens helps me to determine what websites are worth investing in unless I am just having some fun with them and that's another thing. If you can't have some fun and do this business then what's the use? :)
