Wow, I'm really digging that guitar, what design is on that? I myself have never played any musical instrument, I never had a knack for it. Computers have been a part of my life, my whole life :). I started editing websites back in 98', with CC's free Web Editor and partied for about 6 years, then came back to my senses and began school along with web design. There are so many different things going on right now though it's like music has 50 genres, and that's further broken down, I can't find anything heavy anymore. I'm into AC/DC, Hendrix, Janis, The Stones, Jefferson Airplane, a lot of different old school rock bands. One of the greatest songs of all time though? Allman Bro's, The Weight. :)

Allman Bro's... now you're talking. Duane played slide guitar like I like to do... but HE was good ;-). Too bad he died young.

I don't find a lot of interesting music or bands these days. That's why I prefer to listen told music.

The guitar is a zinc plated brass Guitar. Some say it sounds like a banjo sometimes :-) depending on where I plug it in. The drawings are leaves engraved into the metal. There is a cone inside to amplify (project) the sound. They used that type of guitar before the electric guitars.

Btw, here is a wood carving (caricature) I did for a friend who plays harmonica and guitar. He is still playing and singing in bars and is 70 years young. That is just to show what I want to put on my web site now.

Even though I come from England, I'm in no way an Anglo-phile, however we do rock better than anyone else, in my view. Deep Purple/Sabbath/Ozzy/ Zep. I used to live when I was a baby in the same street as Bryan Johnson of AC/DC :P

Your very talented G, that's really clever, I wish I could play an instrument.

I've played acoustic guitar ever since a friend taught me three chords when I was 12. Never messed with electric guitars.
Ha en riktig god dag!

As for everything, playing guitar needs a part of talent and a part of work (practice). And to practice, you have to be motivated. I stopped improving and began to loose a part of what I knew of the guitar because I had less time (or motivation...) to practice. So i am sure that you could do a lot more on the guitar if you had the motivation to practice as much as you work on computers or whatever is your main interest.

Juice Harp :-) Can't play that... My father used to when he was young, and my friend plays it sometimes.

G'kar, I must say that there is indeed many if not a lot of good musicians in England. Well, I should say "there was", because today's music doesn't inspire me, be it from England or USA. For me, the 70s was the best time for bands and music...
