Laughing Bird Software is good, i've personally spoken with the owner Mark and he seems like a good guy. It's easy to use, especially if you aren't graphically inclined like me. I don't really think too much about graphics when I use their software because everything is just a click away. I know that you can order packages that have pretty cool avatars as well, ninjas, clowns, etc. If I were you i'd drop some cash on it, I doubt you'll be asking for a refund.

Yes Gunsmoke uses his stuff too. What I dislike is that he won't to my knowledge allow trial periods of his software, which is a bit of turn off for me. I've asked him and asked and asked him about this, but he never replies.

What gets to me Steve, is that he hasn't got the good grace to reply to any of my emails, so why should I give him money if he won't do a trial. I've been polite in every email, unless he does and it's free I won't bother, don't care how good it is. If personal service is no good I won't bother with any company. If someone gets in touch with me about anything I reply as soon as possible even when they are been critical, it's just manners.

Oh I hear you! I feel the exact same way. He was pretty responsive to me however. I have asked him a few questions and he has replied right away. I am currently partnered with a graphics designer however he has been very unresponsive when my clients call him so I am thinking about dumping him and just using this software to assist me with creating logos for my clients.

You send an email to Marc Sylvester saying that Nigel Brewster wants to know why you don't give a trial and not reply to my emails
Seriously that is annoying about your graphic designer chap, I feel that it's the perfect combo web designer/developer + graphic designer. It sometimes not how good you or someone is but how they are as a person, you have to be reasonable on skills but people skills are important too.

On facebook there is a mod that answers a lot of questions and is usually pretty quick. Post something to him on facebook where everyone will see it, and you'll probably get a quicker answer.
