So Ive had my website up for about a month now, getting decent traffic (more than i thought at least haha). I started to wonder what other people do to promote thier website. So far the only thing Ive been able to come up with is the google+ pages. My guess is everything just comes with time though.

Freebies are always a good draw. Blogs are good now days a face book page is the go. Put a Google Adsense add on your site. Google loves it as it makes money from it. Traffic swapping helps. But nothing compares to an interesting site that draws repeat viewers. keep up with content.

Thanks. I just put adsense on about a week ago, very nice ad program. So far i've been adding "likes" to the website articles on my personal facebook page but maybe making a separate page is the way to go. I've never really gotten onto twitter before, but wouldn't I need a bunch of followers for that to work or is there another way to use that?
