I have my own cache dumped every time I reboot my computer. But F5 only reloads the page you are on doesn't it? So that would need to be done for every page you visit I think.

You can go to the settings and have your browser set to reload on each page hit if you desire. Ctrl+F5 works well for testing or just to confirm you have the latest edit displayed. Over the years, I have made many changes to clients websites who later contact me saying the page has not updated. Ctrl+F5 always renders the update.

DK,

Great site! Especially for your first. The animation on the front (which I assume you made in Firestarter) needs to hold for a few more seconds on the morphed graphic. It starts at the cartoon kitchen, and then morphs into the real thing for only a half second and then goes back to the cartoon kitchen. Needs a few more seconds.

My site is:

http://www.disneysubmarines.com/

Description: This website on the now famous Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland features a robust photo gallery, tons of videos, free Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage wallpaper, and much more.

Tools used: VSD, Firestarter, Photo Gallery, Flash Blogger.

I would have used Coffee Cup Web Video player as well, but I needed the videos to be very specific sizes, and WVP only gives you two sizes to choose from.

Highlights: We have a photo gallery of the construction site for the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland that goes all the way back to October of 2004!

Also we have ORIGINAL, very high quality, video ride through of the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland as well as videos of the OLD Submarine Voyage Rides at Disneyland.

Chad, just to the left of your Russian dating ad on the front page you have a couple of lines of text which overlap badly. I am using Firefox. I am attaching a screenshot to show you what I mean. I have not checked out all the site to see if this occurs in other areas.

kdenn - I'm glad you're enjoying my site!

Janys - That is very disappointing to me that you are getting overlapping text. I don't see that on my end and I use Firefox.

Browser compatibly is very important to me, and when I designed the site I tested every page in Firefox, IE, and Safari. I even tested pages on other people's computers, PCs, MACs, and tested different screen resolutions as well.

I find it very upsetting that is happening after all the work I've done. The problem, whatever it is, is with VSD and I will definitely be in communication with them about this problem.

Did you find overlapping text on any of the other pages? Would you mind checking this page, in particular:

Hi Chad,
Yes, I have found a similar situation on this page too. My screen resolution is 1440x900 and I have the latest FF installed. I shall now try it in my other browsers too.

Ok - in Opera and IE at 150%zoom it overlaps, but it also overlaps in normal text size in Chrome and in Safari.

Hope you manage to get this sorted as I can see you have put a lot of work into this. Try the Editor forums where you should find someone well versed in VSD who may have some ideas on how to overcome the problem - I'm afraid that isn't my baby as I do my coding by hand.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
