Naw, actually Winston Churchill visited Fulton, Missouri back during the war and spoke on the war. Wish I could have met him, but that was before my time. Barely!

Winston was a strange man but was rather nice if I say so myself. He understood that we needed to come together as a world rather then fight amongst ourselves. Ah how I miss those days... :)

My partner is British, and he agrees that Americans can't spell ;)
But he also says that a lot of school children in Britain today haven't a clue who Winston Churchill was. :o

Yeah so some survey or other said about that they had never heard of him

A Turkish friend of mine was living in Detroit for some years, and he found out that a lot of people there were not able to point to which direction Canada is located.

I drive a truck and train new drivers. The very first student I had was a pig farmer from Kansas. Born and raised on the farm he was trying to break out. Young, just married and had a new baby girl. Can't blame him for wanting a better life. But, he hadn't a clue where anything was. He could not tell you which way Missouri was from Kansas and they are right next to each other! Drove okay, spent 8 weeks with me learning how to read a map! :P

That was Mr. Winston who built the church at the top of the hill, right?
