While we have not 100% ruled out the idea, for now I don't foresee them being added as an option with our hosting any time in the near future.

Has this changed? I just received notice that starting on October 27, all sites not running under HTTPS will show a more visible non-secure site alert in Google Chrome. This seems like an issue that would push many of your customers to some other hosting company.

Disregard this, I'm just testing something about displaying images in forums.
Works here. does anyone know if the Simple Machines Forum also uses the BB code image tags?

So in practical terms what does the following mean
It came in an email today
.....In case you missed the big news,

Google is going to start flagging sites that are unencrypted. But there is no need to fear because we're enabling SSL encryption for all CoffeeCup hosted sites and forms. As a Webbie subscriber, you're able to enjoy this new security feature right now. Simply enter HTTPS whenever you link to your content.

Does this mean my site is now automatically an ssl site.
how do I change my site from http to https

From now on any time you post links to your site you use the https in the url.

Hi Eric,

If I add https in the url I get a message saying my site is not secure on both my sites:
https://www.spiraloflight.org/
https://www.katinachapman.com

Is there something I'm supposed to change in sdrive?

Thanks,

Katina

Are those S-Drive hosted? I noticed my CC sites aren't SSL yet either. I'll open a support topic.

I heard from CC gurus and if your using custom domains they won't be SSL yet. only the mysitename.coffeecup.com are SSL at this time. They don't have an eta for the others to be covered.
