You were right! Statcounter code wasn't on most of my pages and here's why... I used CC's HTML editor to put the code in. I opened a batch of pages, highlighted the </body> and </html> tags, then selected replace. I replaced it with my Statcounter code + </body> and </html>, selected all open pages and then clicked Replace all. I then saved all and closed all. I assumed it did what it was supposed to do. But I reopened the pages and looked again and only one or two actually retained the changes.
To get it to work correctly I repeated the steps above but, before saving and closing, I had to examine each and every page I had open before saving and closing. It's like the change didn't actually "stick" until the page was manually examined. You can imagine how annoying that is when you have to visually inspect all 140+ pages in order for the replace all function to work. I even tried it with smaller batches of 15, 10 and 6 pages and it would still only apply the change to 3 or 4 of the open pages.
Guess I need to find a better html editor for batch edits.
