Less the one month now until XP becomes as obsolete as Windows 95. I still feel that this was their best operating system. I will light a candle in its honor...... ;)

I agree with you Scott, to date it truly is the most stable OS. Although I have to say I have really warmed up to Windows 7. Not sue why they decided to move away from this OS as Windows 8 really bites IMO.

Who knows... one day I may come to the dark side of the Mighty Silver Apple!!!!

I still have an XP laptop lying around here, which I'm lending out from time to time.
When is Vista due to 'die'? (I have a vista laptop and desktop too)

Otherwise I agree with Steve on win7. And I already am on that dark side... ;)

Yeah Win XP is the best OS I've used, then Win 7. I still have Win XP on my PC although I don't use the PC much, it's always there, also have an XP disc. Win 7 I've always enjoyed also.
Never thought I'd hate an OS like I did with Vista, never got on with that, it was slow, unstable, crashed every 10 mins, but I forgive it when 8 came out. For people who have come from touchy stuff with smart phones and tablets it's maybe not a great jump, but I think this will cost Microsoft in the long run.

We'll for me it's the dark side as I eagerly await my new iMac that should be arriving tomorrow!

Other than that we still have a semi involuntary retiring windows 7 desktop ( in other words it's dying after about ten years lol), my previous windows 8 desktop which my husband is going to attempt to fix for himself and a small ten inch netbook with XP on it.

Sure hope the dark side has a brighter future than I have had with the windows pc's lol

I have our environmental control for work running on XP. I'll have to contact the manufacturer of the program to see if their getting close to a version for windows. It should be fine as thats' all its used for and I have a brand new pc all setup with the identical system.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Scott,

You already know what I did: Switched over to Linux (Ubuntu 13.10 right now) and am running Win 8.1 in a virtual machine so that I can continue using the CC HTML Editor.

Besides, whether or not I like Win 8.x, I must check how my Web work appears on Internet Explorer, a regretable fact of life.

Too bad that I couldn't have spent the $129 for the Win 8.1 license with Coffee Cup. I know who my friends are.

Yes, I looked just like that in 1962.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
