The only reason I still have a Windows computer is because we have Windows software that does not have a Mac counterpart. When the day comes that we have a Mac and Windows version of our software, I will take a bat to my Windows computer!

Not anymore though really. I am wiped out on politics. I scan the headlines for weird and unusual news on feedly to put on my blog, but otherwise I'm on a self imposed media/news blackout.

The only reason I still have a Windows computer is because we have Windows software that does not have a Mac counterpart. When the day comes that we have a Mac and Windows version of our software, I will take a bat to my Windows computer!

My thought on this is that ALL hackers and virus makers must be using a Mac...
That is why they do not attach their own computer.

That is why they do not attach their own computer. All joking aside, my understanding is that MAC hardware architecture and the way that it runs programs is vastly different than Windows. It makes it much more difficult for viruses to infect an entire system. (You MAC gurus can correct me if needed.)
Why spend time writing viruses that are harder to write and will affect a smaller amount of the computer population?
