I just watched the trailer. I almost couldn't believe it was a movie. Almost.

I'm not sure if this movie is sci-fi or horror or a combination of both as I haven't seen it yet, it's an oldie called "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes".
Just LOVE that title, this film has to be so awful I just have to see it!

Terrific movie, - remember it well!
Used to play every Saturday night - at midnight - at the UC Theater in Berkeley, back in the day...

I don't watch movies all that much, I tend to stare goggle-eyed at a computer screen instead.

Very funny movie. One scene had about 8-10 top military brass meeting at an 8' x 10' table inside a 9' x 11' room.

Just had to chime in here, albeit a tad late. The Blob is always my first thought when this topic comes up, followed immediately by (Matango) Attack of the Mushroom People (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkP3MTXL … re=related). During the egg hunt, in the way wee hours, I caught some old Outer Limits episodes. Not movies, but definitely contenders.

Soylent Green., yes!

This is a relatively recent low-budget movie intentionally camped up to imitate the cheesy Sci-Fi films of the 50s. An affectionate 'tribute', of sorts. :)

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) often features cheese overnight on Friday into Saturday.

Really great stuff, like:

Monster A Go-Go
Blood Freak
Rat Fink a Boo Boo

Classics, all! Look for 'em and weep! :D

I can't believe nobody has nominated

Ice Pirates My all time least favorite and I like Robert Urich
Nightman Beyond bad

On the subject of Sci-Fi though I saw a movie back in the late 60's about a group of astronauts that came back to Earth and found everyone frozen in time only to find that it was them moving forward in time at some 1000 times normal so everyone else seems to be motionless. I can't for the life of me remember the name or who was in it but I feel asleep about 2/3 of the way in and have to this day never seen the end of it. If anyone has an idea about the name I'd really like to hear it.

That is so funny, I actually just watched that last weekend. It totally killed one of my childhood memories ;)
