Strange Upload to Server Problem...

I'm confused here, are you trying to "Publish" to your own server? IF that's the case then that's why it doesn't publish for you. Publish only works with S-Drive accounts not for your own hosted accounts.

Export for putting on your own hosted site

Publish to upload to S-Drive hosted site

There is no ftp publishing built into the web calendar.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Wow, in this glad to get Monday in the can day, you guys are freaking me out... lol <kidding> So JoAnn, you're saying that Web Calendar was only meant to be used with S-Drive for the 'publish' feature?

Eric, I've used a couple of FTP programs. My paid version of CC FTP and WS FTP_LE. Otherwise, I've used "publish" that shows following 'export' in Web Calendar.

I'm intrigued, JoAnn - I don't see anything in this image that would indicate that Web Cal must be published to S-drive. If that's it, a good catch on your part though.

Not sure what you mean other than to answer your question with this, Eric. I click the EXPORT button, then EXPORT FILES in the window that pops up, then OK and let it export the calendar files to my HDD, then PUBLISH in the pop up window, then tell it what server to go to and allow it to connect, then finally I click UPLOAD FILES HERE after ensuring the path is good.

That's correct. I have never published from the calendar. Sorry for the confusion. I'll test and see if I get the same results. But as Joann stated up a few post No S-Drive.;)

So generally when you use Web Calendar, you do the 'export' and then FTP up from the export folder on your HDD to the server, Eric ??

I actually add the files to VSD using the add files tool. For the HTML editor I use the built in ftp for that.
