When I upload the page with a simple webform in it using Filezilla FTP client to the hosting company the "file" permissions are all set to 664 and the form will not work.

Folder Permissions are correct set at 775.

How do I get the "files permissions" set to 644 instead of 664 when exporting from web form builder.

I can open a support ticket with the hosting company to change the files to 644, and they have a script they can run that changes all the files permissions in my public_html folder to 644 without having to do it one at a time. I've tried doing it one/one group at a time which is impossible due to all the folders/subfolders/subfolders in the webform folder trying to keep track of what folder I'm in, which ones I've done and which ones need to be done. I've tried a couple of time without success.

Windows 10
Webform Builder version 2.2 (latest version)

thanks for any help, Mike

I just tested your form and it worked on my host. You may have gotten an email with the results as I left your email in the Form settings. Who's your host. They may have a htaccess file rewriting the permissions on your directories.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric, thanks for trying to help me with this.

Hosting company is Maine Hosting Solutions ( https://mainehost.com )

A Question: When you look at the upload of my .fb form on your server in the cPanel File manager in the public-html folder are the file permissions set to 644.....see attached screen capture ( files are from a different client than the one I'm concerned about that has a CC form that is working 'cause I contacted the hosting company to "group change" the files to 644 so it would work. Circled files on the right side of the uploaded/attached .jpg

If Maine Hosting Solutions servers are responsible for the incorrect file permissions what's the next step?
Change hosting companies?

Thanks, Mike

I checked the files on my host and they seem to be 0644 also and form submitted.
Can you share a link to your form online?

Thanks Eric....& Wayan

Finally got the form to work without any file permission problems. Changed FTP client from Filezilla to the Coffecup Direct FTP. Yea! (FWIW did some searching on Filezilla and file permissions and several blogs mention file permission "challenges". I don't have submit a support ticket to the hosting co. anymore to get them to correct the file permissions. Again...Yea! :)

Published form is here: https://sugarloafchapel.com/bookings_contact_test.html
.fb file is here if interested: http://sugarloafchapel.com/BellChapelContactForm.fb
