Form Builder (Full) Permissions -...
I am testing the new Form Builder (Full) edition and when I submit the test form it throws the following error...
Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s):
•Failed to record the data because the server is too busy or doesn't have write permission.
The server is not too busy so I believe it to be a permissions error. I don't know which file(s), though, and I hate to arbitrarily give everything a 777 permission.
It looks to me like all the files I uploaded currently have, at least, write permissions for the Owner but not necessarily for the Group or Others.
Can you tell us specifically which files need what permissions? Thanks!

The folder that you need to check is the storage folder. That needs to have read/write access.

Step 3 of the Form Exporting process says to...
"Add the contents of this folder to the location of the web page that will contain the form."
C:\Users\xxx\Documents\WebForms\oysters
The contents of the oysters folder contains another folder called oysters and a file called oysters.php which is what I uploaded. In other words I uploaded the oysters folder that was inside the oysters folder and the oysters.php file.
The one oysters folder that I uploaded has the permission set as 755 and the oysters.php file is set as 644.
Are those permissions ok? If not, what should they be?
Perhaps, I should have uploaded the entire oysters folder instead of just its contents contrary to the instructions. What do you think?

That is how you do want to upload the files. You are supposed to take the contents of that folder and NOT the folder itself.

Ok, great! That's what I uploaded. Now, what about the permissions? I have the folder set at 755 and the file set at 644.

The default permissions set by your FTP client on upload should be fine. The only folder that needs read/write permissions is the storage folder and all folders below it.

The default is 755 for folders and 644 for files but those are not working. As you know, both of those are read/write for the Owner.
What should they be?

I would suggest you open a support ticket Stephen now as we will need a bit more sensitive information that you should not post here.
