Upgrades to WFB for php8: Thanks! -...
Thank you CC for getting this update done. My first 3 conversions went smoothly. Only 60 more sites to do! :-)
I had updated my 2.09 to 2.10 earlier this year, hoping that php8 would be solved. It was only $99 for how many years update? Too long ago to recall but I've been a customer for 10 years. I asked if my 2.10 could be applied to 2.20 and support said yes. At any rate, I have no complaints about the cost. It is well worth the investment. As other extension companies are falling by the wayside, CC has been consistent in customer service and excellent products.
Conversion steps are simple: Install 2.20. Open the .fb file. Save the work. Upload. Change server from 7.4 or earlier to 8.0. 8.1 etc. The only snag I spotted was Dreamweaver didn't upload everything automatically, so do a full upload of all related files. But that's a DW issue, not a CC issue.
HTH others.

Hi bizpat, I am in the same position as you, about 50 forms to upgrade but I have not yet taken the plunge!
When doing the conversion, did you have to export and save all the files again or just open the .fb file and save it and upload just the .fb file
thanks Don

I noticed that the notification defaulted back to an older set-up, so I made sure to select a custom notification email, then exported, and uploaded anything that had changed. HTH
thank you
