Web Form Builder 2.9 suggest Video or...
For a complete beginner creating the first Web Form, what are the best videos or other How To articles for the Form Builder 2.9?
We just purchased the new Web Form Builder and are attempting to create our first web form
Web Form Builder 2.9 Build 5485 (2017 release)
At this point, we just want to allow a user to register information.
It would be nice to "create an account"
For now, we just want people to register to manually receive a product information.
With the idea they could place orders as we figure this out.
Sending an email can come later. Basically the text file could be used while we consider Mail Chimp.
This is low volume for now, probably under 100 emails per month.

Thanks so much.
We just got a new Domain on the s-drive. Created the very basic web page and included a simple form for users to ask for more details. Then tested the name entry including harvesting the web form results and viewing them in Excel (text file).
We are completely new to pretty much all of this. But, using the built in Coffee Cup template, it took us around 2.5 hours to build a very basic web page from a template that included a functional Web Form.
That is somewhat amazing considering we have no real Web experience.
It is a great platform to start building out.

Coffeecup apps are amazing at letting inexperienced users make sites quickly with little effort.
Have fun with your new discovery.

I am using Coffee Cup Form Builder 2.5 but still having problems. Since I've had this software I've never been able to publish a form. I do OK constructing forms, but continue to have major problem publishing my form to the world wide web. I believe I am not placing the correct information in the "Confirm Email" Tab. Reading the instructions for the Confirm Email Tab it says, "if the TO address does not contain something to select, this means your form does not contain and email address element or your email address element is part of a display rule. I have no idea what this mean. I do note the "drop down" menu does not show anything and I can't type anything in that area. Why is this???
When I click on the Properties Tab I note there is a NAME and PLACEHOLDER area. I assume the NAME is where I put the name of the form. I have no idea what goes in PLACEHOLDER. Can anyone tell me what goes in each of the spaces so that I don't continue to get an error message.

Culd you please let us see your form? If it is not uploaded, then please post the .fb file here (or if too big, then in your drop box). It is much easier to help if we could see the problem.

Hello there from sunny Bali
Inger I am in the middle of making a video for someone about the self same problems (I think) hope you won't mind if later I put up a link to that (unless you manage to sort it out before it's ready

Bob, as Inger suggests it would be very helpful to also see the project FB file there are so many things that we would have to guess that it makes it difficult to come up with a suitable solution

Musicman, add an Email element from the right hand panel in the form builder to your form.

Yeah, I thought after I had posted the above, that maybe there was no email element in the form, just perhaps a simple input field.
Wayan, a video will always come in handy.
