Web Form Builder Lite Version 2.10...

Just as the subject says when I exit WFB Lite, I get an error message that says "Coffee Cup Web Form Builder has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program".

I thought maybe upgrading from version 2.9 to 2.10 would solve this problem, but it hasn't.

Other than the fact I can't use the "Save as" function (program says "The project name can not exceed 150 characters"), it appears the program is working correctly. NOTE: I don't even see a place where I can enter a "project name". My file name is "EWATV_Membership_Application nnnn-nn-nn.fb" (where nnnn-nn-nn is the year-month-date" of the file. The form name is "EWATV Membership Application".

Help!

The project name would be the name you saved your from as in Form builder. Have you tried a reinstall?
I would open a support topic and see if the CC gurus can sort it out for you.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Yes, I did delete version 2.10 and reinstalled it. Problem still exists.
I will open a support topic.
Thanks.

Can't open a support topic because WFB Lite is not a paid program!

Tried running as an admin.
Program still crashes upon exiting.
Everything seems to be working so not sure what's going on.

As for the project name, my form name is "EWATV_Membership_Application 2021-03-26" (obviously without quotes). Whenever I make changes I save with a new file date just in case I mess things up really bad I can go back and recover. So what I currently have to do is copy and paste the file and give it today's date and then open WFB Lite and open the file with today's date. I can just save the file, but can't use the "Save as" feature.

That's odd. Maybe send CC an email to sort out the issue.

Please disregard the above post.

I tried sending a tech support request through my support room and had to use their contact form.
Once I entered the software it (again!) said I don't own that software so they can't help me - or words to that effect.
It appears with the Lite version of WFB you don't get any support.

Do you know of an e-mail address I can use to send directly to tech support - thereby bypassing their restrictive contact form?

I'm wondering whether the problem relates to the length of the whole file path rather than the length of just the file name. Windows has a limit on the length of a file path, and I guess the same is true of other operating systems.

It might be worth creating a test project with a short name in the root directory of a drive's partition to see whether that allows the program to operate as it should.
