Is there any CC software for doing a blog without using the Stream blog stuff ( which I had problems with )?

And I heard that an RSS feed can help distribute your blog as news and is very powerful.
I found : http://en.kioskea.net/download/download … news-flash
but it appears old?

CC used to have a 'flash blogger', but I think it has been discontinued for quite sine time. I know that the Web form builder can be used for a lot of things, maybe also for a blog. You'll have to wait for Eric to turn up here...

You could use the form builder to submit to a mysql database and then use php to dynamically build your rss feeds.
This page should help you out.:)

Eric, you keep replying as if I have any idea what you're talking about.

No, my site doesn't even use PHP. Very simple. I maintain it with HTML Editor.

It's going to be kinda' tough to run a blog on an HTML-only site. One alternative is to allow blog-like discussions on your static HTML pages.

For this, you might want to give Disqus a try. After everything is all set up, you just copy and paste some javascript code into your HTML pages to show the discussions.

Just follow the instructions for "Universal Embed Code" and you should be good-to-go.
