Rhubarb, Gunsmoke has been right all along. IE8 and HTML5 don't play nicely together, so your options are:

either use an older doctype,
or add this piece of code to the head of the pages:
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
<script src="http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
<![endif]-->

Arghhh! Microsoft again. Ok, well thank you Gunsmoke, had my blinders on and hopeing for a different outcome. Got some reading to do I guess.


By the way Inger, I've been away for awhile, don't we have another Senior Advisor from Norway?

Not to my knowledge, Rhubarb. I suppose you are thinking of Bjørn Jønsson, but he seems to have left long ago. And I don't think he ever was an advisor.

Yes it was Bjorn. If I remember correctly his avatar was a picture of a gentleman smiling into the camera dressed in a coat and tie, wearing glasses with dark frames?

He changed his avatar a couple of times. The one I remember best is a pic of himself at the age of 10.
