Years ago, I set up my website, ThomasApostle.net, with no problem using the free coffeecup html writer and one of your standard three column layouts.
Now I need to recreate that website in order to make some updates, and I paid for and downloaded the $49 coffeecup html writer and also the $4.99 Deep Red Layout which was supposed to give three columns. How do I use this combination to get the three columns?
I have no trouble with the regular html coding. Just getting the three columns like I used to have.
Help?

Barbara,
In the Deep Red theme, the logo in the header and the ipod pic are both in the #mainleft section.
By the time you re-write the CSS, it might be faster/easier to start with one of the default 3 column layouts.

Maybe someone else has some ideas? :)

In response to my query about using deep red to get to three columns, Ambassador said:

Now my new narrower question.
How do I find a default 3 column layout?

Go to:
File > New from Theme/Layout
You'll see your choices in Default and HTML5 themes. :)
