I'm trying to insert a logo that's oddly shaped and I'm trying to import it as an EPS so there is no background but VSD is giving me a black square for a background around the logo. How can I prevent this?

I did the logo in Photoshop, like I've done a million times before, but this time it's not working.

What does it look like in preview?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I ran into that at first as well, until i realized that when i previewed, or published, the background of the image went away. I think it shows in VSD mainly for keeping track of the image size/shape. or something... lol

That's why I was asking how the preview looked. If still the same problem in preview then go to the next step. Must be Ted got it worked out.
