Gaming theme/template would be pretty cool. Mainly because no one can do graphics quite like CoffeeCup and I'd like to see one of their renditions of a gaming style theme. :)

If you do have the editor it has a neat trick of being able to download just about any page so go looking find, you will have your theme graphics to boot, Do a mod or copy and paste bits in VSD. I think its about time Professor Rohloff opened an online University. I concur.

Thanks guy's, I just keep seeing wordpress sites and wondering how they are able to fit all that css code into one format and make it look good and run smooth. I'm going to University of Phoenix but it's mostly business stuff right now and cultural media, i'm avg a 3.0 ! I'm a high school drop out so that's good for me . University of Rohloff rules though!!:D

To be honest, and coming from being a major gamer myself and having run a handful of guilds or co-ran some of them, most people use things like Joomla, SMF Forums (can be created into a full website portal) and things like that so they can have logins and such as well as forums. I would personally use SMF forums myself right now if I were to create a new one, but the last one I did was with that and it worked perfectly for it.

There's a lot involved in creating a good gaming site and using something like SMF or Joomla is really about keeping it all together, ease of updating, and easy of accessing it for the users. Yes you can get away with a basic site setup and a separate forum, but SMF puts it all in one and does it very well. I'd check that out before trying to incorporate all this yourself. Granted though I wouldn't stop all the way though as you're learning as you go too so you don't want to lose that tool, but maybe just create some extra pages for it so you can keep practicing or something?

Anyways, that's my 10 cent gamer experience opinion :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
